I understand that the keyboard cursor stays always highlighting without blinking on all the desktop apps, except the browsers. This issue could be due to the recent changes in the keyboard settings. This issue happens when the blink rate of the cursor is set to the least value or 0. You may refer to these steps to reset this setting. May 21, 2020 The cursor highlighter or the PowerPoint Toolbar? If it's the cursor highlighter, have you tried downloading the source code (which there shouldn't be any problems with), and either running the.ahk file directly or converting to a.exe file and using that (in both cases you would first need to install AutoHotkey)? Windows 10 tip: Make your mouse pointer easier to locate. Finding a tiny white mouse pointer on a light background can be frustrating, especially if your vision is less than perfect.

PenAttention is a free Windows program that displays a highlight, pencil, or pointer at the location of the pen. It's intended for use in presentations on a pen-enabled laptop or PC so your audience can see what you're pointing at on the screen, since most programs show the pen's location with an eensy-weenie-teenie-tiny dot that is almost impossible to see on a projector screen. For a demo, see the overview video.
This program is distributed under the MIT License. Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
PenAttention version 10 has been updated to run on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Version 10 will also run on Windows 7 or lower, but if you have problems on older operating systems you may consider running PenAttention 1.4 or CursorAttention 1.4 instead (see below). Version 10 has the same features as version 1.4 but it will detect the pen for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 and has support for monitor scaling (not available in Windows 7) which is common on high-resolution laptops like the Surface Pro.
Unlike version 1.4, PenAttention 10 will run on a machine with or without a pen and it should work with several different types of pens, not just active digitizers. You do not need a separate version (e.g., CursorAttention) if using it with a mouse and no pen. However, by default, highlighting is turned off for the mouse. You must enable it in the settings. There is only a single 32 bit version of PenAttention 10.
Windows 7 and Lower
Version 1.4 is designed for Windows 7 machines or older. Use PenAttention for pen-enabled Tablet PC's and will automatically detect if the pen is hovering near the screen to enable the highlight.
The sister program, CursorAttention, is designed to run on Windows machines that are not Tablet PC's. This may be useful if you wish to highlight the mouse location or use a non-active digitizer (e.g. an external tablet).
The latest version is 1.4. A video is available demonstrating the new features in version 1.4. There is also video demonstrating the new features in version 1.3.

The mouse highlights everything I click. My computer is acting strange. Is there something wrong with my mouse? Is this a virus on my computer? What do I do? Yikes!
One Click Highlights Everything:The Three Main Symptoms
1. One click highlights everything. I cannot unhighlight text. When I click on any text, some strange phenomenon occurs. An alien of some sorts keeps highlighting the text, and the text simply refuses to become unhighlighted. The whole page is inundated with highlighted text. The Sticky Key Monster has taken over!
2. My Favorites Menu remains on the screen after clicking on a bookmark or favorite link. The favorites menu will not go away, unless I manually click it off myself. This is not standard procedure. 3. Everytime I click on a hyperlink, the page opens up in a new window. Again, this is not standard, and should not be happening.
SOLUTION – Permanently disable sticky keys
1. Click start button on the bottom of desktop page. 2. Go to Control Panel. 3. Go to Accessibility Options. (top left of page) 4. Top section reads StickyKeys. Click Settings next to StickyKeys. 5. Then you see Keyboard Shortcut. 6. Uncheck “use shortcut”. That’s it. Cursor Highlighter Windows 10![]()
